ABOUT ANASTASIA
Anastasia Sergeevna Razumova is a queer folk artist and aspiring author. As an international adoptee, she was born in Kirov Oblast in Russia and was raised in the United States near Washington D.C. She currently lives in the Pacific Northwest with her beloved family.
Anastasia earned her Bachelor's degree in Literature and Creative Writing from American University where she focused on studying Medieval and Renaissance literature.
Anastasia is producing her stop-motion animated series, Dymkovo Diaries, on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. The show follows a group of clay animal friends, inspired by those from her culture, going on adventures together in a whimsical and colorful world. When she is not making art or writing, she can be found knitting and crocheting, spending time with her loving family, and planting her garden. She is greatly inspired by flower symbolism, illuminated manuscripts, and folk art. Anastasia works with a variety of media but mainly creates her best artwork with acrylic and watercolor paints.

As someone dedicated to making a difference, she also contributes her creative skills towards humanitarian and fundraising efforts for Ukraine. Despite life’s challenges, Anastasia sees the potential for a brighter future for herself and all humankind.​
